Finally back home after what seems like an eternity of conferences, hotel rooms, flights, meals on the road, presentations, meetings, and fortunately, time with colleagues and new friends.

Quite a bit of buzz in the blogosphere lately thanks to a few well constructed posts, credit for the start of which goes to Sylvia Martinez of GenYes.org …

… whom I met first in Second Life and then in real life at NECC. Her entry spawned others, as great blog posts often do:

I’ve skimmed these posts and love what I see, open minded educators honestly assessing a bleeding-edge technology, essentially asking, “does it matter?” In some cases, the answer is clear. In others, not so much.

As soon as I finish unpacking, I’m going to re-read, then blog and/or comment into this conversation.

Thanks for the contributions, Sylvia, and everyone else! Be with you shortly!

Kevin, looking forward to your posts. These intertwined connections are great. We did meet at NECC as well, but since I was already in SL and had been, I spent my time at NECC seeking out some initiatives in other areas. I welcome the conversation to come.
