The Story of My “Second Life”

Ran into Gia tonight on the front steps of ISTE HQ as I was docenting with Clare, asked her what she’s been up to, and she casually mentioned she’d just helped produce this terrific machinima about the SLoodle project … which, in case you’ve not heard about it, is a mashup of Second Life and the open source content management system Moodle. It was shown at the UK Moodle Moot last week (24-Oct-2007).

Anyway, watch this video to get a glimpse of the future, folks. A future where students interact in an immersive, 3D, real time environment with the content management capabilities of Moodle. Truly inspiring. Great work Gia, and I see Scott Merrick listed on the credits, too! Kudos!
