It was the last session on the last day of NECC, but you wouldn’t have known it. The room was PACKED, standing room only, approximately 120-130 people. Peggy, Bernajean and Marianne were fantastic, the kids were too, their work spoke for itself. We managed to UStream it wirelessly, I’m not sure about the quality, I’ve not checked it (I’m still on this pokey NECC convention center wifi). Nonetheless, it was a great honor to share the dias with these folks, and to hear the applause that was FOR THE KIDS. Bravo, folks! Enjoy the show!

I continue to be humbled by this experience;m the gift of working with these passionate, devoted educators, the support of a district and colleagues who are willing to take risks to benefit our students, and the majesty of the middle school student, caught up in the chaos that is adolescence, and still finding the willingness to open their hearts and allow their voices to be heard… To Desi, Eloise, Kayla, and Dal- our “in world” angels– we are forever in your debt. You brought the magic to the multitudes.

DUUUUUUUUde! I had a BLAST workin’ with all of ya’ll, and I’m looking forward to more. Just posted this a.m. a big thank you page at the SLedupotential wiki and of course couldn’t thank you enough for being Kevin Jarrett. When the organic, collaborative nature of SLedupotential started to actually happen in real-time meatspace, you were the first to belly up and throw your muscle into the work. Cheers, dude, and the first fish I catch in Texas tonight I’ll name him after you as I release him!@!@!!

I am so impressed with this storytelling project and really getting to the emotional content of the stories. Kudos
